Hello Roger,

I totally agree with you.  Poetry has helped me so much
to overcome the emotional hurt I went through.

I will be over to your place post haste.

Thank you, Amanda

Being here at Adlandpro sometimes feels like an addiction, but sometimes feels like a second home.  We are addicted to our favorite chairs in real life, so it just makes sense to feel very comfortable in our online home also and be glad to be here.

My son also draws a lot and I tell him we all don't have that natural ability, the artists sometimes don't know the individual value they have flowing from their hands.  There are tons of mothers worldwide saving every drawing and painting, and if there's ever a day we have to clean out closets after decades of living somewhere, I wouldn't ever want to part with any of it.

Hello Kathleen,

You made me smile when I read your comment - we are
addicted to our favourite chairs.. When I lived back in New
Zealand I was definitely addicted to my chair and it just did
not feel right when someone sat in it and I had to sit in
another chair. Here in the States I do not have the traffic
coming here so James and I have our respective chairs
and all is happy

Kerie my daughter took art in High School and in my opinion
did some very nice artwork - the Buzzy Bee was hers which
I photographed.  I always tried to draw but just could not
get what I was trying to draw come out on paper.
I have watched fascinated when a pen and ink artist so
quickly draws a couple of squiggles then another line or
squiggle in another area on the paper then they seem to
join them with some darker penciling in and 'presto' you
see someone's face!  All done in about 10 minutes.

His Word

When I read His Word
and store it in my heart
my life is so much brighter
I have light for my path

I know where I can go
the map becomes more clear
I'll always have a song to sing
because Jesus is so near

As a child of God
I need to read His Word
not just to know it
but to give it all I'm worth

Jesus is the way for me
even though it's tough
with Jesus in my corner
the road now is not too rough

Many have fallen from the way
let the shepherd find you today
and bring you into His special flock
and base your life upon the Rock

Jesus is Chief Corner Stone
why many founder, this I know
He's the stumbling block to many
and it does not cost you a penny

He's already paid the price
put His body up for our life
what an unselfish single act
because I was such a brat!

Thank you Jesus for saving me
by dying up on that tree
I can now have life where I had none
Because Your deed has been done

Hello Friends,

Happy Easter.

I miss the observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday
statutory holidays back in New Zealand and the Common-
wealth countries e.g. Great Britain, Canada, Australia, NZ..
because our respective countries count Friday as the day
the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, Saturday the 1st day of
his death, Sunday the 2nd day and Monday the day He rose
again...according to the scriptures.

I remember when I sat listening to a teaching - when Jesus
shrouds were discovered and why the way they were laid
opened the eyes of Simon Peter that Jesus had risen up
and out from the shrouds that he was rolled up in
John 20 V 8

I personally feel that Easter observance is more important
to me because without Jesus being crucified upon a pagan
cross (the OT laws, says cursed be anyone who hangs on
a tree), dying and taking our sins upon Himself we would not have salvation.  I have come out from under the laws of
the OT and into GRACE.

I wish you all a great weekend, and hopefully spring has
actually arrived for most of you - it has been kinda
spasmodic here with cold days then warmer days, no
blossom yet on our trees or spring flowers - sigh.
