Hi Roger (I posted a reply over there at my place and now I'll post it here, I feel like I've swum across the Atlantic to post to you twice!!  That was a quick swim and I'm not even tired.)

Your poem is EXCELLENT AND RHYMEY!!

The first thing that came to my mind, as I say to ALL writers/mind-artists:

"YOU should NEVER be a physical servant of anyone or anything on this earth!"

The last idea I had near the end was the "far too wet" reminded me of the one and only time I went skiing at age 16, it was far too snowy/wet and much too much frequency of falling in the snow and getting wet.

You sound like you've worked too much at unappreciated difficulties, but this one poem is the crowning glory of all your years of the labors that were beneath you.  It was well worth it!!

Hi Roger,

Just came back by to read your poems again.  I very much enjoyed them all & I especially liked His Promise.  I know what you mean when you get inspiration and just start writing, tears come to my eyes sometimes too when I complete one of them.  Keep up the writing my friend & I'll do the same.  It encourages me to see you writing & helps me to keep on.

Take care,

Cheryl :-)

Hello Roger,

Just popping back in.

I loved your "Why you hate the sea"  getting seasick and
getting too wet does not make one feel all warm and fuzzy
about repeating the experiences again in a hurry!

My daughter Kerie was in staying in England about 3 weeks
ago with my niece who lives right in the heart of London
and walking distance to many of the sights and scenes.
Kerie thoroughly enjoyed her week and then toured over
in Ireland which she said I would really enjoy.  One day I hope
to visit Ireland.

Welcome everyone.

Hermione our youngest granddaughter doing her best welcome gesture.

It's what makes those hours of hard toil, with the pen, worth it.

Sorry, If I'm honest most of my poetry is written quickly.

But seriously, when people enjoy them it inspires.

Thank you for visiting and for your loving comments.

Roger

Amanda,

I really must get to Ireland myself.

Having done research, my name comes from Donnegal which is the Northern most point of Eire.

I am sure Kerie enjoyed some nice weather. We have been so lucky this spring.
