WOW Roger!

You are very lucky to have a wonderful granddaughter like Hermione...
She is really beautiful and lovely!

I should be grandfather, first time, by this end of this month myself... and, it is supposed to be a granddaughter as well...

Blessings,
Alain

Hello Roger,

Thank you for sharing the photo of your granddaughter, she
is delightful.

I remember starting to reply to this thread and was surprised
that I did not see it posted - I do not know what happened.

Kerie, thoroughly enjoyed her trip around London, then
went to Ireland where she said the scenery was beautiful and
I would enjoy both places.  She was going to Scotland.

She has employment in Italy, I am not sure when she starts.
I just realized that I had not had skype on for several days
and I have not had emails from either Daryl or Kerie.  They
get online when they can from a Internet Cafe or similar so
contact is a little spasmodic.

Alaine,

That is lovely news about a grandchild.

Ours are such a joy in our life, at least we say so when they go home again.

No seriously, they are lovely they just have SO MUCH  energy.

We are so proud to have such lovely influences in our lives. We have two daughters and three granddaughters so a boy would be unknown territory.

I hope that all goes well.

Roger

Here is a poem I wrote, having had hidden memories revealed and confirmed.

My Eternal Memory Suppressed

(c) Roger Macdivitt 2009

My spirit, like a Petrel, soared.

Love’s thermal warmth assisting passage.

High above the chilled, churned, sand floored

Sea of life, no force can assuage.

On, over emotional mountains, now like a Condor,

With wings of faith and heart of hopes.

It’s eyes of sharpened steel, grow fonder

And tenderness with charity elopes.

This journey, long yet nought in time’s

All dimensional, vibrating tunnel,

Where light and darkness meets, combines

And the energy produces a swirling vortex funnel.

Eternal love and ancient friendship

No earthly example can compare,

The sureness of self, no ego trip.

All spirits act as one, His love to share.

No pressure to choose, held safe in His arms.

Self-judgement completed, I stand, loved.

Oh, so loved. How love becalms.

Held firmly but gently like a hand, gloved.

Decision made by thought and deed.

The outcome now designed and set.

Return I must, to sow more seed

For other spirits’ needs. All goals reset.

The task, now set, it’s course let run

In human form encumbered now.

Body, mind and spirit, now one,

The empty void with energy endow.

Return again to this? Cold, rigid and unyielding

This cocoon, this husk, a mortal vehicle.

Yet, like a warrior, experience wielding,

The hope of years, no recall, shielding.

No more to soar with spirits powers,

Until recalled to deal with matters.

I live for years and weeks and hours,

In oblivion’s peace, where no word  matters.

A glimpse, a hint is all I glean

Through another’s experience of eternal things,

A record of light forgotten, felt and seen,

Where angels envelop me with their wings.

Amen

Roger,

That was fantastic!  I like the condor/flying theme, and also multi-V words, vibrating, vortex, void, vehicle...and love DOES calm us, exactly like a gloved hand.  It's like an epic poem.
