I was out this evening and returned around 3am and found many skype and other im messages referring me to your new thread.

Due to the lateness of the hour I won't respond to all that you've written but will make a general reply and will return later in the day with a more detailed response.

The POTW doesn't give the admin any special privileges within the community other then the honor and now it appears dubious honor of running the 2 forums and
spending many hours of our time doing just that. Our only objective was to serve the community no more no less.

We treated all with respect and fairness. In the one instance when a misunderstanding occurred I tried and succeeded in resolving the issue with respect and politeness. The records are there to prove just that.

The POTW IS NOT a power base nor does it benefit from any special privelages and it surprises me that you think there is any power to abuse. Just as the POTW award is an honorary award so is the administration of the forums. It is a voluntary position and I was asked to  take it on and refused many times until John convinced me that as a personal favor to him I accept the responsibility. At this point in time I sincerely regret not standing fast with my gut feeling that it is a thankless job and no good will come from taking it on.

When a member participates in other forums even if heis the admin of the POTW he does so as a member of Adland from his/her personal account and had/has the rights to express his opinions and beliefs just as any other member does. Running the POTW doesn't strip you of your opinions and
beliefs and you are allowed to express them even if there is controversy involved.

From the replies in this forum so far only one alludes to any mistreatment and sadly it is a pure figment of her imagination but I will deal with  that elsewhere and not here.

I will return with a more detailed response later on.
