2 of the main ideas of this forum were MINE anyway:

Putting the links to the nominees' profiles, I suggested that to John Sanchez 2 years ago.

Offering some sort of recognition to people who post, also my idea, that became the Voters Of The Week.

People may not like my suggestions if I become the POTW forum leader, I wouldn't allow myself or any other PREVIOUS POTW FORUM LEADERS to be nominated.

Anyone who would make nominations for the POTY as I stated in my previous post, would need to be ACTIVE for a noticeable amount of time, not just a dormant account.  If the nominations are to be counted, I expect the people making the nominations to have friends, have an active forum, post regularly in other forums, and to have posted in several weekly POTW elections prior to next year's POTY election.

I don't even know if I want this job, but something needs to change.  First and foremost, no election leader past or present should ever be IN the election.

I wish John Sanchez was back with us.

Please disregard my posting about John. My recollections are that he and Pauline were really involved in this.

John told me he was considering choosing me as his partner in POTW but then he changed his mind after we had a dispute and then he chose Pauline.  I could have been the POTW partner 2 years ago. 

Now that I just said I wouldn't allow any POTW leaders to be nominated, I may just get the entire job myself!

You ladies are quite surprising. 

Why would anyone willingly ever surrender the opportunity to be honored as POTY with petty silly rules such those you just describe and cheered for? 

Are you truly this shortsighted? 

Let's hope the next team is at least half as rational and dedicated as the one that has served as your POTW Awards Team for the past year.
