What petty silly rules?

Obviously 2 of my suggestions have already been in place for a long time, with you and your team using those, links to profiles and Voter of the Week.

What rules are in place now that are working?  None. 

I offer the only unselfish way of doing things.  I knew when I said no past or present POTW team on the nominations, that would deter lots of people from wanting to be on the POTW team.

What's more important to you?  Winning a non-award election, or being in charge of a weekly community participation forum?

Neither should prevent the other from happening.  Simple.

A poll where each and every vote is tallied electronically, is not fair? 

The unfairness comes in when people try to skew the system and you cannot stop cheaters if they desire to cheat the system.  No more than you can stop a snitch or a tattletale.  Human nature always prevails as it did here.

A small group got their wish and sullied a position of recognition for petty purposes.  Plain and simple.  Those same people have been responsible for the same uproar before with this award.  Fact.

Now it appears that tooting a personal horn is the reason for any further conversation on this topic.

I have done my penitence for the community and received the benefits.  Thank you and now you wish to remand me and others for doing so.  What sanctimonious crap!

Do away with it all together, cuz if we members who vote and knowing that the Admin votes as well, who's to say that the Admin of said awards did not vote for themselves, wheres the proof? show us the proof and then i will continue to support these types of Awards. Jim i love being on my high horse now. it feels good to tell what needs to be said. You either do things the right way Admins or im not going to vote. Period. I agree that Peter does works hard, but not allowed for fairness to the members of the community for any admin to vote in the same awards. Good day!
