Thanks for stopping by again.  As you obviously know, I always enjoy a Trivia challenge.  This was fun.

As for the Political references, I tend to remember by association, and that's what I associate with "Smooth Operator".  The early 80's, and the Reagan years in particular, had a pivotal influence on me.  From being a campaign worker for Jimmy Carter, one of the nicest and most honest men to ever be President, in 1976, to being a Delegate at the second Reagan Republican Convention in the 80's, obviously my views changed dramatically.

Thanks for my prize.  After all of those years of Football, these are like old Friends to me.
