Hi Roger, An orange float is an urban-variation of a rootbeer float. Good answer! (Not an actual orange floating on top of something :) LOL! It's a scoop of vanilla ice cream in orange soda, instead of in rootbeer. It's very unusual to get delivery of something like that, this is the first I've heard of getting delivery of float drinks! :) Actually very unusual to get an orange float from a restaurant, the BBQ place is brilliant, it's serving to a multi-ethnic neighborhood and actually serving what people want. Here's a clip from a TV show of about 15 to 20 years ago...now where's the rest of USA in catching up to the love of orange?
