Love this article and it is SO SO SO true.
I sold Real Estate for 9 years and the same thing there..... 80% of the sales are done by 20% of the sales people.....
But I think that ratio has to have another 80/20 rule applied.
20% of the 20% - do 80% of the 80% - which equates to around 4% doing 60% of the total sales... 16% do 20% of the total number of sales...... and the last 80% scwabble fight and whine over the remaining 20%.
The key in any business - is "to realize it is a business and to treat it as such." That means consistent and focused "work."
Become one of the 4% yourself and you will make a lot of money- no matter what business venture you are in. Become one of the 16% and you'll carve out a living, enough to get by on. Remain one of the 80% and you'll starve.
The choice is yours - treat it like business or a silly game.
To me the choice is obvious.....
