Donna,

That sounds what we Aussies call a "dead ringer". In other words it's exactly the same. I do have a recipe if you want it but it is a bit fiddly and you like easy ones!!!!    lol.

Here's one that is a "breeze". Great for the grandchildren to make (under supervision) usually end up with chocolate up to their elbows. Also good to take as a "plate" when visiting.

Lee

CHOCOLATE SPIDERS

        2 tbsps crunchy peanut butter

100g pkt Chang’s Fried Noodles (or whatever equivalent you have)

       188g milk cooking chocolate

Method:

Use double saucepan to melt chocolate, add peanut butter to form a smooth paste.

Add noodles and mix.

Spoon mixture out onto greaseproof paper (or baking paper) and refrigerate to set.

The chocolate spiders sound like something my grandchildren would like to make. I am teaching them how to cook and bake. My grandson is catching on better than my granddaughter and is less clumsy than she is. I think I will try the recipe with them this weekend.

You can post your recipe for the swiss roll. If I decide it is too involved for me, some other readers may like to try it out.

Thank you for sharing!
