Here's a quick and easy one ...
APPLE CINNAMON TARTS
Serves 4. Prep: 10 min. Cooking 15 min
1 large golden delicious apple
1 sheet ready rolled sweet puff pastry
20g butter, melted
1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
¼ cut (80gr) apricot jam, warmed
Method:
Preheat oven to hot 220c
Peel core & halve the apple. Slice apple thinly.
Cut pastry sheet in half to form 2 rectangles. Place pastry on a greased oven tray.
Overlap the apple slices down the centre of the pastry slices and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar.
Bake tarts in a hot oven for about 15 minutes or until pastry is browned. Brush tarts with apricot jam. (Not suitable to freeze or microwave)
