Hi Roger
iT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR FRIEND HAS QUITE A PROBLEM. a BIT OF AN UNUSUAL SITUATION TOO.
I have heard of food allergies developing in people later in life but not that continue to worsen and cause even more restrictions on ones diet. I could be wrong here but this is something that I have not heard of before.
What I have heard about though is people becoming hyper sensitive to allergens as the result of having been exposed to toxic mold. Many people who have been exposed to such mold become allergic to an increasing number substances as their condition continues to worsen. Household cleaning products, foods, perfume and a host of other elements become intolerable to these people.
The reason I know a little about this is because I have been exposed to some toxic mold and have become very ill as the result. I haven't really been diagnosed as having elevated mold toxicity levels yet but just about everything else has been eliminated as a possible cause for my illness. Also, It is very difficult to find a Dr. who is knowledgable about mold mycotoxins and is able to do the specific testing for this condition.
The onset of my symptoms coincide perfectly with having moved into a rental house that was full of many species of mold.
I have a forum here in Adland that discusses toxic mold and the potential illnesses caused by it. If you would like to take a look , here is the link . http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/thread/668647.aspx
I think you will find the news interview with my good friend, Iris Hardin, to be very interesting. Her and her husband are very familiar with the hypersensitivity that I was talking about.
Take care now Roger and for you and your loved ones, we wish you
A Very Merry Christmas
