Easter Gardens

I found a BBC page with children's mini Easter Gardens.

They are so beautiful and much imagination has gone into the gardens.

Bonjour!

While I was away in England, a plant that I have in my lounge, came into flower.

The flowers are gorgeous.

I don't know what the plant is (it was given to me by a friend who no longer lives in France). It has never flowered before and we were very pleased to see the wonderful flowers on it when we returned from our hols. It is still in bloom, over three weeks later.

I wonder if anyone knows what plant it is.

My friend probably told me what it is, but my memory is a sieve when it comes to the name of plants or flowers. I don't know why that is because I love all plants and trees. But that is what counts, I suppose.

Here are some photos. It was difficult to get the lighting right, but you can see the plant and yes, it is standing in a potty!

The flowers have fully opened up since I took these photos. A lovely feature in our lounge.

Hi Sarah,

That's a beautiful plant. It's probably from the cactus family. They don't always bloom but when they do the flowers last a long time.

That cute blond is Isabelle, my youngest. She really is a belle.

Actually I had to chuckle to myself, because people say that she is a miniature me!!

How nice to be likened to a cute blond!  You made my day. LOL ;)
