Hello friends of Mother Earth!
I was in
the garden planting pansies in pots and window boxes. The sun was shining
brightly.
I noticed
that I had a lot of weeding to do. The clay soil here may not be very good for
growing plants, trees, shrubs, flowers or vegetables, but those weeds grow at a
tremendous rate.
I had to
abandon the garden and go do something else.
As I was
driving back from collecting the twins from the school bus, there was a French
song playing (I actually wrote “French record”—showing my age!). Roughly
translated, the words to the song are:
She is
yours, but you will lose her if you leave her there without taking care of her.
That got me
thinking about the weeds in my garden which I must attend to, before they take
over.
In turn,
that got me thinking about the bigger “weeds” in Mother Earth’s Garden.
If we leave
her without taking care of her we will “lose” her too. The weeds will take
over. What a legacy for our children.
Friends,
lets get weeding and taking care of Her before she is lost. Well, that's my thought for today. It was difficult to type as Isabelle and I were sharing cuddles! What a great pleasure that is. Angel cuddles, Sarah
