Gerri,

Your mosaics are beautiful.

Next summer (just going into winter here in UK) I plan to do a cobble mosaic under my gazebo. We live on a ridge of sandstone and iron and I have picked up a huge box full of water washed smooth ironstone pieces.

Traditionally in the area church paths and public space areas were cobbled using these as they withstood heavy footfall. They were often laid in patterns.

I have two possible designs that I have planned, a centurians head or a dragonfly.

Keep up your beautiful work.

Roger

Gerri,

Thanks for coming to my garden.

Thanks for the beautiful pics of your garden and the mosaics.

How wonderful your sanctuary is.

I found some witches in my garden today:

Best wishes, love & light

Roger,

Thanks for coming back.

You are quite right.  Gerri's mosaics are beautiful.

When you have done your cobble mosaic you'll have to take some pics and put them here for us to see.

I know you get graphically challenged but I'm sure you can overcome that!

LOL

I'd chose the dragonfly.

We get some beautiful dragonflies here, down by the river.  In fact, we get some wonderful insects there.  They shine and glisten like jewels flying in the air above the water and reeds.

Here's another pic of those witches in my garden today:

Hi Sarah,

I'm back.  I simply love it here.  It is so peaceful and lovely in your garden.  As are those two little witches you found.  they are just so precious.  Please wish them a Happy Halloween for me.

Did you notice that those witches have got their slippers on.

They've just come out of their house!

An update on my garden.  The creeper on the house is turning to the autumn colours.

The trees were casting shadows as the evening sun was going down behind me for this picture, but you can pick out Dodo and Koffee posing for the pic too.  Dodo had just got down from lying on the creeper, where it goes horizontal near the end of the wall, by the french windows.  It's a lovely spot for her.  Very cosy with the afternoon sun.

Angel cuddles,

Sarah
