How People Look

 

Why do people judge others by the looks

instead of how they show how much they care, 

Should those being judged by the length of their

hair even when they shave it all off because of a dare.

 

Letting others be judged by the peers

around them is not within our moral Law,

People always look for the bad side of

everyone instead of exactly what they saw.

 

Never letting them to prove they are

wrong by the words they have thrown,

Judging others is so terribly wrong maybe

some will understand when they have grown.

 

Looking and listening to what others

have to say about how they feel inside,

Never really thinking or seeing how they

have sliced someone’s Spiritual pride.

 

People should look into a mirror and really see what

others may judge about them as being wrong,

Nobody is ever the same as other people or

the way they want even in a perfect song.

 

When going outside each and everyday

I listen to what others really have to say,

Seeing the look in their eyes as it shows that they

are the ones that live their life in total disarray.

 

As I look and am seeing this with an open mind

and a broken Heart that always does cry,

But then again all you hear from them when

confronted is to change all they could do is try..

 

Coming from someone first hand who has seen

and been there and feeling totally disgraced,

This is all because of some people out there that

feel good about hurting others by being two faced.

 

This is something no one should ever have to go

thru everyday as we all have something special to give,

People listen to yourselves and think of what you

have to say as everyone one of us has a right to live.

My Adland friends,

I wrote this Poem because of what I see, hear, and deal with everyday. Either I am being judged because of my hair or because of my disability as there does not look like anything is wrong.;. Dealing with this myself and seeing others do the same I have come to the conclusion because some of us are different and not perfect as some people think they are.

I am positive I am not the only one in Adland who goes thru this because of the way they look or walk. People need to learn how to ask questions be kind before judging others. Just think before we speak will stop so much of the pain that may be had just thru words.

Take pride in how people treat you with kind words and spread them to all you know and talk to everyday. Spread good will and prayers to everyone you know but also show them the respect they deserve.

you have no idea or maybe you do just how close to home that hit in fact it couldn't have been closer. I have been judged all my life because i am not the prettiest girl out there a bit over weight. if someone were to take the time to see the beauty inside they would be amazed. I've never judged anyone based on anything but what they show themselves to be through actions conversation... etc.. never on what they look like or if they have a disability of any kind. i wrote this through tear stained eyes because i don't recall seeing anyone put into words how i feel like you have just done.

I know each difficulty varies from person to person. Some hide in the shadows as I do. At times I reach out to those who would understand. I know that some are ashamed of what or who they believe they are. I am at times one of those people as well.

There is not a day that goes by where I do not feel judged by someone. Dealing with my own illness and having children with rough tempers, things can get rather troublesome. They can really run my house on me LOL But when things level out again, I do better. Confusing for the kids but that is alright. They know I am here for them no matter how my mind works.

I hope that this poem helps others come out and share what it is that they feel in any case.
