Re: Friends Please Be Aware!

Hi Everyone...

Well, I don't know if I should say anything...because I don't always know what is going on around here. I seem to have different circles of friends...

but I don't think Monica, nor myself, nor anyone else intentionally singled out anyone in this thread of a discussion.

I want to say "Maybe someone had theire feelings hurt?" but that isn't really it... This is a different sort of community. There's tribes here and it's territorial and it's a lot of fun... I know that I'm very out and out shy when it comes to getting to know my way around a new place..... at least we don't have to watch out for who uses what bathrooms or is that part of the cafeteria meant only for that clique?

There's private forums here. I kinda decided not to enter into any because I didn't want to find myself leaving if I didn't fit in or ... if it was as gossipy as i imagine they are! LOL

My Grandmother always said, "See, Tom's out there talking... (Tom was my grandfather) and he and several other men in the neighborhood would be talking standing on the edges of the yards or the foot of the driveways...

"Men gossip more than women ever could, she'd say! But then we were always busy. who had the time?

I don't think this was meant to single anyone out but to in general give everyone a heads up for what to look for... it's easy to spend money that should go for groceries if you think that by next month you'll have 5 times as much...

Darn i wish that were the case! LOL (smile)

Thank you for the remarks.

In my short experience in internet business, I have not really been cheated. But sometime some irrititant procedures have been changed by the marketeer. The product may look very attractive, and all say that their products are the best on the market. And income claimed very promising, but seems most unpracticle. If what they claims are true, many of us are already millionaires today. But are we? Are they, I mean the marketeer? Many are not, if not all. I would say that if they are milionaires, they may not even in this Group.
A Co. I joined, sounded very promising originally (just to attract me I suppose), products very believable, but midway they change the method of payment from Paypal to something else. This is irritating.  Fopr whatever reason, a change in payment methods involved documentation, and such change has the essence of the Co. being untrusting, to all parties.

Hello Monica,

I have 'donated' cash to many people here at AdlandPro.  Most donations, I felt, were truly needed at the time, but then found out that the person getting the donation didn't really need it or deserve it.   I have made the decision not to donate to anyone any longer.  My income is Social Security Disability and I can barely get through a month without being broke and having to do without things that I need.   I guess it is almost the same as 'buyer beware', really check into what you are giving money for and to whom.......

Hi Monica, Thank you for bringing this situtation to our attention. I am basically skeptical about a lot of the marketing going on at Adlandpro but tend to ignore those overblown claims and delete the ads. I have donated money a couple of times to those who seemed in dire need, but don't know if the situations were legitimate. I didn't donate large amounts, due to financial considerations and due to not wanting to lose money to someone who was just conning members. I do not know to whom you are referring when you say that sometimes the pictures are false, or the names, etc. However, I appreciate being advised of this so I can keep alert! It is too bad that there are dishonest people who take advantage of their peers. DonnaZ
