It is so true quite often we are first business they have looked at on the internet, that is why I have done some forums in the scam section here. Not sure what your note is meant to be I thought it must of been connected to a site.
I must say however that I refer persons to some great scam uncovers, this includes Scambusters, Bureaus in many countries even suggesting they just do a google search and investigate more. Unfortunately there are a few hundred thousand of them and I agree we need to let our downline know this.
