Hi Rose,

The "join it before it is too late and everyone else catches on"  atttude is certainly not too healthy in many cases.

A business that is really sustainable will still be there when the first rush is over.  And, how many of these "join quickly" businesses ARE still arund after the first rush is over!

Interesting to see you making the same point as a few other people  about things that are free - especially advertising - the less you invest, the longer it will take and the more effort you will have to put into whatever project you are in.  On line as in life itself! lol

And you have given some very valuable advice to everyone - "
If you do not believe in it enough to promote it don't start"

By the way - you are not alone in liking liver and onions!  And great with a bit of chopped up crispy bacon added.  Are you really sure that there isnt a market for this?  Even a very small niche market?

Take Care

Hi Judy,

It is refreshing to find someone who is so healthily sceptical of anything offering to help you make lots and lots of money (for little or no work of course).  The WEb is full of offers like these and the  sad part is that some people believe them.

If you ask the people promoting them how much THEY have actually made, they usually change the subject or tell you about a friend that made a lot.

Invariably the programmes and opportunties that really are worth the while need a little money and a lot of focussed work to get them going for you.  As in any other business.  Because, as it has been  pointed out earlier - working at home is becoming self employed.  And that may mean more work that you have to do working for someone else.  It is simply that for many people it is more satisfying.

Take Care

Peter, I completely agree with you.
I'm a meber of the independent Yorgoo-Network. As a Goldmember of Ycademy - our training center and the center which gives us all the tools we need - I learned, that first you should loo at yourself. What is you profession, what would you love to do, where are your strength . With the help of Yorgo and all our members, we find out, how we can make our own strength.

This past weekend we had our monthly online seminar which was just impressing and we learned a lot for just 15$.
10 of our members have been coached for 3 weeks in respect to their possibilities to creat their own business. It was realy imprfessing how they developped within these 3 weeks. This seminar showed us, that all we need to do, keep our focus on our personal goals and follow the advises we get from our coaches.

None of us is talking about other businesses we could participate in. we all are building our own business. Of course while doing that, you recognise your limits, necessary steps you cannot do yourself. But that's no problem at all, becuase within the communits there are the friends who exactly can do these things because it belongs to theeir chosen business.

The progress we make is tremendous and is so much fun and joy. We notice one thing: together we are unbeatable. You get a speakertraining for those who like to train others, other members do support ore prepair our webpresence.

In my eyes that's the way you should do business in the net. Not being dependent from other businesses. If you fail, then it is nothiong else fought then yours. But you will never loose everthing, because you participated in other businesses and did the job for others.

We are creating Joint Ventures within Yorgoo, help each other and start wearning money with our OWN businesses. And all that international.
All the education and the necessary tools and trainings I get there cost me no more then 35$/month. But believe me, its worth each cent of it and much much more.

so if you do not want to help growing other businesses, then join us and find out, what your OWN buasiness could look like, create your own brand and make it wellknown in the Internet. Become a real entrepreneur.

Hi Judy

And I apologise for a long delay in replying to your great post!!

Your point about claims of making large figures is well made.  If someone claimed this in an offline business and it was not true - they would be guilty in many countries of fraudulent advertising.  Regretably on the internet it is called "promoting"!

My suggestion is that you ask the person selling it to you to tell you how much THEY have made and over what time period.  And then decide.

Hiu Lorraine,

Another belated response!  My apolgoies again.

You have obviously done your homework (or due diligence) if you are happy with your programmes.

Equally you have your own unique "niche market" - the left handed site" which has a special capitve audience and must be very easy for a left handed person to market as you know the problems that can be solved by your product - and probably use it yourself.  (I am gald you finally went for it!)

A lot of people suggest that a good programme, especially in mlm - is one which you use the product or service yourself from choice.
