Re: A Serious note . Professor tells Muslims to leave country

Thomas, thank you for your message. The professor seems to be a naive. He thinks that his message was a personal one and would not be made public. Can any body believe that such hate messages would remain private. How can he blame the entire community for the misdeeds of a few misguided fanatics.Islam as I know does not teach what these fanatics are doing in it's name.It is a religion of peace.Otherwise it would not have spread in so many countries and would not have survived for so many centuries. I think it is the responsibility of every peace loving person to exercise his or her mite to restrain people like the professor from indulging in such hate campaigns. There should be a live and let live policy if the world has to remain a haven of peace. Best regards

Lissa, I agree.  I did not know there were any people who were "different" until an adult told me.

This is a tricky one here. While I have done study on what Muslims are taught in their teachings, I am going to say that this Religion to me is very Dark. Woman have virtually no rights and are bound by many more laws than are Men.
There is also another problem here in Australia, where people who migrate here from the Middle East are branded as Muslims, when infact, many are from various different faiths and have, escaped the country because of persecution, so we need to be careful to be sure we are branding people truthfully. I have worked with and met people from the middle east and yes Muslims as well. While quite a few are peace loving, there are also quite a few who are left and follow the teachings to the book, as the saying goes. There is much cruelty that happens within those teaching as children who are female are classed as adult at the age of 9 which Males are classed as adults at the age of 15. There was a time in history, actually in the so called, Dark Ages where Muslims and Christians, actually lived, in almost a position of harmony. We have to remember however that not all Muslims are radical and are bent on murder and killing those not of their faith, but in saying that, Christian persecution is rife in some areas of Africa , India, Indonesia and of course the Middle East. This person who says all Muslims should get out and he may have a valid point however, only for radical Muslims, I personally believe.
This is only my opinion and I always do my best to respect all faiths, people requardless of what they believe and who they are. Keith.
