Love Your God With All Your Strength!
6/11/2007 10:37:39 AM

No doubt it sounds strange, but in order to love God with all your strength, you have to admit that you are weak and that your strength is limited.

By doing this, you acknowledge God as the true source of your strength, and that in your weakness, he is strong. You become strong as you become totally dependent upon him, allowing his strength to work through you.

As you allow God to show his strength, you will find yourself doing things you never thought possible. God promises you can do all things through the Father as he gives you his strength (Phil. 4:13). You’ll take steps of faith you never thought possible, and you’ll love others in a way you never imagined as God supplies you with supernatural strength and energy.

God is strong and he wants you strong. He will change you in places where you cannot change yourself, and he will transform the broken places of your life in order to use them for his own glory.

God doesn’t ask you to take steps of faith alone; he is with you in every step, filling you with a grace-charged strength. God only asks you to take one step of faith at a time.

This is so true.  We may think that we are very strong, but even if it appears to us that we are the reality is we aren't.  We certainly need to acknowledge our weakness and allow God to do his work with us....

Dear Thomas,

Its like going up the stairs of a tall building. The first step may be considered as one who has the ability to listen. People who listen before they speak or act always have the possibilities of making the right choice. To listen to ones inner consciousness. The appeal to let God talk to you in a soft and useful manner.

The second stairs , may be considered as understanding. By understanding the words of the Lord, we bridge the gap between, self will and God's message. We don't need to be preachers to understand , but we understand through selfless efforts where the Spirit of Truth has overwhelming authority over our will and desires. Understanding the ways of our Master, is a great reward.

The third stairs, will enable regeneration, growing in wisdom and intelligence in a manner supported entirely by the fullness of Christ command in us. We regenerate unto our true selves. To become the 'Sons and daughters of  the Living God.  (As the scriptures put it)

The the forth Stairs,is when we grow unto atonement, where we will see ourselves as our God is. A place where Man will have no other form, thought, physique, life , truth nor Love, but that which is of Christ and his Kingdom. The Kingdom of Heaven and Earth. A place where there is no house, no money, no taxes ,no fear nor loss. A place that is set with the Crown of God, with Jesus on the throne.

Peace be unto the struggling hearts. Peace be unto the words of Truth that uplift all humanity. Man would find his way as he submits himself to the Lord.  God's Strength is omnipotent, for this we are sure of endless peace and grace.

Merci Thomas.
