Hi Mary,

Now that is a very good question. My middle name is Simon, but if my Mother ever told me why she named me Simon I have long forgotten. In which case I have a good reason to call my Mum and find out.

Hi Mary ,

This is the third time today I have attempted to post to your forum. I keep getting these lovely eorr message that the sever is on the fritz.. anyway..one more time

My Name is Geketa Marie , Marie has been used as a middle name in our family for many generations .. They used Miriam until they came to the US. Marie , Mary and Mariam are all the same name, just different spellings the meaning  is always the same .. I have about 25 girl  cousins both 1st , 2nd and a few 3rd  and one daughter with it too. we usualy use it for the first born girl in the family .

Hello Mary,

My Middle name is Munoz, which is my mother's maiden name.

Hi Robert George,

Sometimes names get lost for a generation or two and then someone has the wisdom to get it back into the family name again.

 

But a name like Robert George got your attention when used together:  "Robert George, get in here now".

Thanks for stopping in to share your family name.  You will still be Bob to most of us though!
