Introductions
3/4/2007 5:12:37 PM

Hello,

My name is Jenean and I am a beadaholic.  I love to make jewelry with beads and when I'm not making jewelry, I'm reading bead magazines and books, surfing the wed for information on beads and developing my web site.

If you love beading then please feel free to share.  Thanks, Jenean

Hi Jean,

My name is Bette I had a look at  your site and you have many nice sets. I also love to bead. I teach locally here and am in the process of getting a few of my design patterns published..

Do you do the different stitches, such as peyote, brick, spiral or Russian Spiral?  They are fun and add a different look to your designs too.

I do not have a website at the moment, but am working on one soon.

Hi Bette,

Thanks for visiting and posting.  I am learning right angle weave and I'm going to take a crochet beading class in a couple of weeks.  I would love to eventually learn the other stitches and how to create beads and pendants with polymer clay.  So this year my plate will be full with learning.

I used Yahoo's site builder for my site.  I wanted to get something up without it taking a lot of time.  I hope you decide to build a site soon.  I'd love to see you work.

Hi guys, my name is Debra and I too am a beadaholic and not looking for recovery, LOL.

My preferred types are bead embroidery, bead crochet as well as loom and off loom weaves.  I don't make mush jewelry, but prefer to embellish things.

Beyond that, I also love to melt glass (fusing and torch) and play some with polymer clay.

My learning for this summer will be art clay or precious metal clay.

Nice to meet you all.

Hi again,

I'm glad to know there are others out there like me. To make it short.

I teach all types of stitches... Peyote, circular peyote, spiral, double spiral, Russian Spiral, Russian snake stitch, eyc...etc..etc...

I've made a few pieces of Dichroic glass and beaded around them. I love Art Clay silver & gold (another form of PMC) I also like making my own beads from FIMO and Makins ( U don' need to bake it)

My current project for tonight and tomorrow is to finish my circular peyote necklace. It'll look like a snakeskin when I finish, and I'm creating my bail for the pendant from peyote stitch..

I hope to find a good site soon..I'm also considering an EBay store.. I have so many pieces I really need to clean it out a little!

I'm going to an artist retreat  later this summer for my certification in Silver/Gold Clay, wire creations, and possibly enameling. I can't wait.
