Hi Judy,

Most of the time I stay on task, but sometimes I spend half the day goofing off online and then I have to hurry and get my real mail out, fortunately the mailman arrives around 3 pm so I usually get done most things by then.  There are way too many distractions online, sometimes I wonder how people get anything done!

Hi Judy,

I do!  I have hundreds of tasks reminding me to do things.  I have to organize them to see which one wins for the day.  Sometimes it is just too hard, so I have to put it off until after lunch like my filing.  They should change the priorities to:  Low, Medium, High, Very High, Extremely High, Ooops!

No, I am kidding.  I use Task Manager religiously.  I depend upon it.  I replaced my yellow stickies with task manager years ago.  I think I spend too much time on the computer lately.... especially after joining Adland.  :)

Kathleen,

Oh boy!  I have been there too.  I actually have two filing cabinets.  One that I started with and it became all messed up.  So, I needed another one.  My intentions was to transfer the old to the new in the new organized manner.  Now I have two cabinets full of disorganized papers.  Let's see... yes, Staples has another one on sale today.  Let's see.... aha... I don't have any tasks scheduled today, so I'll create a new one to go look at filing cabinets today after lunch.

Hey, maybe they make special filing cabinets for deslyxic people.  I'll have to check.

:)

Howdy Joe,

Good boy with the Outlook, and I think there are a few of here that have to become more disciplined in our Adland time.  And, then we want to know why we aren't making any money - ah, DUH!

Kathleen, I am sitting here looking at 14 folders - they are color coded and they are all labeled and it actually looks like I have my act together and my boss just walked in and asked me for something that should have been in one of the files, so I pulled it out of the pile and what he wanted wasn't there.  So after going through all 14 files dicovered what he was looking for in the to be filed stuff - I felt about an inch high!   So, I may have to be my own boss again soon - I won't have any choice in the matter (tee-hee)

Bless you both,

Judy

Joe,

You sound like my husband...he likes filing cabinets for some reason!  We have some in the living room, he wants the expensive wood cabinets, <sigh!>  I told him to get the plastic drawers, we compromised and got black metal.  Know what he puts in them?  A few important papers and TOOLS!  Know what's in mine?  Well...one of my cats likes to eat clothing for some reason, so one of my file drawers has hats, gloves, and a swim suit in it.  The bedroom isn't safe from the cat, she always gets into our rooms and munches on anything that isnt put away.
