Hi Amanda,

You should do what you want, post if you want to in every forum if you want.  I'm curious if the long-standing members who told you not to because of point-count were really just trying to keep your point-count lower so theirs could always be higher.  There's too much telling people what to do and what not to do lately, such as whether we should or shouldn't send ads in PM's...most of us are promoting businesses and what we do is our individual choice.  I wouldn't let anyone tell me about posting in forums or in PM's or whatever because my membership belongs to me and yours belongs to you and the people who are putting up an umbrella of rules may only be trying to keep the rain off themselves.  Eleanor Roosevelt said "If someone doesn't have the power to say YES to you, then they also don't have the power to say NO."

I was told that our forums were like our homes so if you can not be polite then you can not stay in my home,I am saying that in genereal,There is to many saying to much lately I think it is called Bullying OOps theres that word again.This is my forum there for this is my home any one can share or not share as long as it is polite or positive as we are here to help and nurture our friends.I love seeing my friends in my forums .At least I know if I see them I know they are safe and present with me.
So my rules are you can post ,not post look or just say hi,Know That I love all my friends and my friends matter to me.

You have given excellent explanation and reasons/why which I appreciate.

There is so many times that no matter which way I act upon in life
I am going to be wrong anyway with some people.  I am just one
of the unfortunate or fortunate individuals that as soon I step out
of line of the policies and procedures and follow suit because others are doing it, I am going to get caught and singled out..This happens
to me on a regular basis.    It is like I wear a beacon  *lol*

Sometimes I will post and sometimes I will Lurk but I am not going
be De-Lurking!!  *lol*  I do not like that word it just does not sit right
with me and still does not seem to be a word at all hehehe.

It took me a long time to perfect my spelling and grammer which I learned mostly from lots of reading and also writing to many penpals
in my early 20s - 30s to friends all over the world. Snail mail.

I had to try and write with more exact english because most of these penpals, english was their 2nd language and they had learned true english.

I  tried to put myself in their place when reading back what I had
written - so there was no local slang unless I went into great length
to explain what I meant..sometimes this would take to long so opted
not to and kept fairly generic.
