My condolences to you and yours on the loss of your father.  I have always thought of you as a good man and after reading this I can see where you came by your goodness.  I pray the healing comes softly to you and yours, and that the memories sustain you throughout your life.  Your forum is  a wonderful tribute to your father, may he rest in peace.

Thank you so much for the invite to celebrate the life of this wonderful man. Your Father was very special and will continue to be so for all time. I lost my Father suddenly when he collapsed and died in the street of a major heart attack. It leaves you feeling lost for a while but the golden memories you have already apllied to print will ease your pain.

Over time you will be comforted. With this in mind I would like to lead you to a very special song I know by the wonderful Luther Vandross. You may have heard it but if not give it a listen sometime. It is called DANCE WITH MY FATHER and it will make you cry for sure. But this is part of the process you need to follow. I hope you enjoy the song and once again thank you so much for the celebration of the life of your Father.

May God Bless you all at this sorrowful time in your life, it's one of the toughest journeys you will ever have to make, rest assured that God is near you all and has his arms wrapped securely around you.  Its always hardest for the ones left behind.

Try to think of the beauty and love, that your Dad is now walking through and it may bring a smile to your face.

You will never lose his love and memories and knowing you were there to make his last Christmas the memory he took with him to share with our Lord, and how that last hug and "I love you" made that journey easier for him.

Hi Tim, I feel very close to your pain. I have lost my father too and I know what it means. Surely your father has found a good place. My father always said : "I am really curious to die - must be something different there".... Have faith. Ciao Daniela

Hi Tim, I'm sorry to hear that you've lost you dad. I've experienced this myself and I do want you to know that beyond your grief lies much joy in realizing that he has graduated from this learning experience we term as life and gone Home. He is in the arms of God now and believe me, will more than likely, be checking in on you to see how you are doing. Take care, keep your thoughts positive, and rejoice knowing your dad is just fine now.
