Re: Troubleshooting-Situations in Adlandpro

Hello again Mary!

Yes, I'm back... I had to respond to Jill's statement below:

Every person I have introduced and signed up into Adland has immediately said to me, "Wow!  This is overwhelming!  My inbox has never been so full.....what do I do with all of these messages?"

What I have been doing to help people with this problem is to warn them about this in my invitations to be friends. I tell them to change their e-mail that they have with AdlandPro to one they don't mine getting flooded by forum and friendship invitations. A lot of people reply with a thank you for the warning and state that they will do that but that they are happy that people are so friendly in our community.

I think it would help our community if others would do the same when inviting new members to be friends (advise them to change their address to one specifically for mail from AdlandPro). It would also be nice if people could place a link to your "rules and forum etiquette" forum in their invitations to new members, that way they would know right off that there are rules to be followed when posting in forums.

Ken, I don't think everyone has a sponsor. Some come to Adland by going to the main page of the Company. I did not have a sponsor. The company that built my web-site gave me the name Adlandpro and I typed it in on google.

Mentoring is great a idea. I have heard from some who say this is their second try at Adlandpro as they couldn't understand it the first time. I wrote "Learning about Adlandpro" as I learned and then passed it on. Eventually others contributed and then I learned from them. Most people to gravitate to like-minded people so I don't think people leave too soon because they don't "get it". Many forums are also produced to help people.
