You need to be careful with statements like this. It actually puts the blame on the victims of abuse for allowing their partners to abuse them--an issue of guilt they already have to deal with.

Victims don't allow themselves to be abused. It's a pattern of behavior that sometimes takes years to develop. In the case of male victims, they often feel they have no choice, because society will consider them wimps if they admit to it, and criminals if they respond (even if they respond verbally, the VAWA considers a man's verbal attack against a woman to be an act of domestic violence).

Thank you Steve, I had a great write up I did last night do not know what happened it didnt post,hmm Any ways your always so right on the spot, You know since I have become friends with so many men here at Adlandpro they tell me things and I also hear things when I am talking to them. This is bigger then I think you know. Anyways, the character behaviors could it be they are that way because they are already pre conditioned from growing up around it???or maybe because a mental defect in them???Im not going to state but I will ask. Let me use my boys as examples: I have the most amazing boys ever, the world sees them as so helpful loving and giving, so polite mannered. but in a personal relationship with one on one they are lacking big time. They have no real regard or respect for woman,my son and his wife were just here for about 2 weeks staying with me never once did I hear him say I love you,He treated his wife like it was one of his guy friends, my younger son amazing everyone loves him he is a player he has amillion girlfriends no one knows about the other, the way they treat there sisters is appauling, even though I know deep down they love them they talk so hurtful to them, ok so why does this happen they kids grow up watching the man or woman we will shoot on both set by example the horrifing things to each other, my boys watch my spouse say the most horrific things any one could possibly say to a person and her daughters. so after so many years of the boys hearing my x talk so horrific that the boys became in a pattern to not only talk it to girls or women they think the bad way about the oppisite sex. So I am sure that it goes the same way for the oppisite sex. So is it that who ever is making the other feel bad do you think it is because the old cliche of they see something inside of you that they wished they had there for they have to make you feel worse then themselves???? Im looking for all the different answers and scenerios if it has actually happened to you. These have happened to me so I can tell my experiences.I have alot of them.
