Hi Rudy! :-)
Thanks for your response! However, I fail to see how you can take information from about.com and count that as some sort of validation. Sorry, but I don't buy it. I hate to flatten YOUR 2 cents sir......but..."Separation of church & state" DOES exist in the constitution! (see link below)
Why do I say this? I checked out the 1st ammendment for myself. I would however have to agree with you on my last statement. My last statement would be incorrect in regards to what "seperation of church & state" really means.
Here is what the legal begals have to say about this
http://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/index.php/First_amendment#first_amendment:_an_overview
Two clauses in the First Amendment guarantee freedom of religion. The
establishment clause prohibits the government from passing legislation
to establish an official religion or preferring one religion over
another. It enforces the "separation of church and state. Some
governmental activity related to religion has been declared
constitutional by the Supreme Court. For example, providing bus
transportation for parochial school students and the enforcement of
"blue laws" is not prohibited. The free exercise clause prohibits the
government, in most instances, from interfering with a persons practice
of their religion.
I found this to be interesting:

Thanks for posting this forum Kathy. it has forced me to do a little DD on this subject.
Have a great week! :-)
