Wow!  OK........this is a ? that doesn not require any amount of brain activity to come to a conclusion.  The answer is a simple NO!

I wholeheartily agree with Steve on the moral vs. legal implications of this matter.  It is not the right of any governing body to tell any person(s) what they can or can't do.  Is America slowly becoming a communist society?

Although, I do not personally advocate same-sex marraiges......it is not the governments right to tell someone they can't do that.  That is a moral issue that should be handled by the church.

Just my thoughts on the matter.  The goverment is not trying to regulate marriage.  In fact they won't let the people have their say.  The marriage amendment act that congress keeps voting down would not have goverment regulatre marriage, but it would put it on the ballot for the people to vote on.  They won’t let us do that and so they are regulating it for us instead of letting the people have their say.  The Judges are also regulating it.  They are suppose to up hold the law, not put their interpretation on it!  They mandate we have to let anybody get married.  I heard in France they let someone marry a dead person.  Will this be next for us?
