I have questions.
11/6/2006 2:02:29 PM

Hello, I do have a real Business that is not an affiliate link. I have been trying to get real traffic to it many different ways. trough adland, singing up for affiliates and trying to use them as traffic port-holes to my real business.

My home page, http://sharpbuys.ispeedway.com has gone through many different changes since first posted. I have decided to delete many "affiliate" listing on this page as i am not sure that it is good business having them listed all in one. Plus I think this detracts all or any credibility that is also needed to est. a solid product. home page. I am listed in google, but do not have capital yet for other search eng. submissions. Nor domain purchase. Am i stuck until I have some capital? I thought when I first started, that free traffic could work, however, I don't fully understand how some of these services including ffa's totally work.

Could You please give me some true, honest feedback? I really do not want to sign up for any more "My traffic program is better than theirs...." sort of time wasters. I know that if I can find the right tools or use what I have possibly found corrctly that I will eventually be able to move my products. Am I wrong?

Thank You, Jasonestenger@hotmail.com

Hi Jason,

I have to be frank with you. What is the focus of your site?

Traffic programs have their uses but getting great leads that convert to buyers are not one of them. Don't waste time getting traffic until u have clean up your site.

John,

I hate to critique other people's web sites, as mine aren't perfect.

I didn't see any content.  If you want people to back link you, you've got to give them some meat.  You can do this yourself by just writing what you know about knives, their uses, how to care for them, etc.

If you are uncomfortable writing, or for whatever reason, you don't write you can do a couple of things.

1.  You can google "free article content" and you should get a list of different places that provide a list of articles on a variety of subjects.  You can search through their content and place that on your site.  But if you use this way - you have to leave the article intact and you have to use the author's information.]

2.  This is the best way that I know of, I'm using this program for my ghost writers.  It's terrific and the price is really reasonable.

You can also get some ideas from www.EricasAvon.com.

I hope this helps.

Oh-Oh - spank me hard :-O  Sorry about that Jason.  I obviously had John on my mind -

I didn't mean to write you a "Dear John" letter.  :-D

Janet

Hi Jason, I agree with Janet. If your theme is about weapons, then I think you can get another site that focus on pre-selling weapons. Then you can link it back to your shopfront.
