Welcome my friend to our humble forum, I whole heartedly agree with you, people who are truly genuine, come across as sincere. Its the way they talk or write. There are many out there I'm afraid, so full of BS and hype, so full of their own egotistical hype, that they actually do believe what they say is true.
Its like that first chance meeting in the street or bar, that inner gut feeling you have that lets you know instantly whether you are going to like that person or not, and sometimes words do not need to be spoken for that friendship bond to be there instantly, the Laws of Attraction, just kicks right in.
My own mother and grandmother, bless them, also instilled these traits in me, although they certainly came from an era where trust was deemed to be earnt and was not easily given, however friendships were often instant and lasted a lifetime. Gut feelings are so important, and should never be ignored lightly.
We often walk along our path of life, and people come onto that path from time to time and frienships are often born as you walk a while arm in arm. Some friendships do last a lifetime, whilst others are there in your life for a reason or special purpose, and may only last a short time, but their pressence along side you enhanced your journey. I hope our own journey together will last a lifetime Joyce.
