and some examples of how to do a (fill in companyname)sucks.com

http://greenzapcrap.com/

http://mazumahsucks.com/

greenzapsucks.com was subjected to a SLAPP lawsuit by GZ.  Rumor has it, instead of proceding with the case and having to suffer discovery, GZ chose to instead buy the domain from the grad student/teen in singapore that ran it.

You might have seen the press release GZ issued about suing bloggers for 57.5 million. http://greenzap.com/newz-pr-item.asp?id=41
Instead of 57.5 million dollars, GZ decided it was in their best intrests to pay off the student for the domain?

57.5 million dollars sought in damages...instead (if we believe the rummors) they paid an undisclosed amount to obtain the domain from the very person they tried to sue.
Saved themselves from a countersuit is all they did...

Or you can take GZ next press release on the matter as fact:

You got to love press releases, they make companies seem sooooo credible, yet they can pretty much publish and say whatever they want. They pay for those press releases too you know...

So it comes to rumor vs press release in this particular case as to how the matter was resolved. For some reason the rumor rings truer than the press release.

Fun read/opinion on this particular suit that never got to even see the steps of a courthouse...

In the case of promoting programs, many people have flaunted company paid press releases as verifiable proof of the stability of an investment, yet completely disregard anything you produce that displays the contrary of that press release.

IMHO, Press releases are nothing more than company controlled rumors...

Mahofst,

Finally, in regards to your biggest question "when some people are cornered and they admit that the program is a scam, why are they driven to promote the program. Is this a form of denial. "

People love and talk about the prospect of making money, but few like to admit that they were taken in a scam.

I think it is a greed vs pride issue.

People want that money and are for some reason willing to ignore things that show that this is going to be a bad investment or scam.

People are also ashamed when they are taken in a scam, and remain silent out of that shame.

David my good friend:

Peace be with you.

Upon opening my email, I saw one from our buddy, Johhny McZap. he was successful in luring me over here. ( Might be a code name for GREENZAP ) Okay, first, while I was living in California, I had several P.O Boxes for my business ventures. All of which were for advertising, film, and Tv casting related services. After three years in business, I kept the P.O Boxes operating. Why ? First, they were tax deductable as a business expence. Next, they affored me my privacy.

When you have a business like those, you do not want to give out your home address or even a ligit business address. You see, in Holly(wierd)wood, you will have people knocking on the door in the middle of the night wanting an audition, etc. So, a P.O.Box is just good sence.

Next, I am seriuosly concerned that so many people are losing money with this program.

To continue, it might be a good idea for someone who lives in this guys neighborhood to contact the local police, advise them that this looks to be questionable and let them do their own investigations.

Thus far, all we could come up with is that this guy makes money and lives a pretty nice life style. Maybe those who have made money with him should post their earnings here, so we could actually see their success story in black and grey. Until then, let's go with...." A PICTURE IS WORTH A 1,000 WORDS, while one video is worth a spot on CNN News....

One more tidbit...( not to change the subject ) but I did....those of you who can record you voice on MP3, you need to contact me ASAP. Right now you can give your own live one mintue ad over TGAMM for $20 US..and it runs for the rest of the year. The only catch is that you have to include information about TGAMM in your ad, i.e... " You're in tune to TGAMM 105.7 FM. "

Those who are interested can contact me here or at TGAMM@COMCAST.NET.

To close, here's our linked radio player ...grab it.. & tune in.....we be havin' fun dude....
