The illusion

Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Pensitive people sit back and lament
Another day's life is useless spent

Passionate lovers wrestle as one
The new day has ended
The night has begun.
The old exclaim "wish we were young"

Cold hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colors from our sight
Red is grey and yellow white
But we decide which is right
