PERSEVERANCE/PERSISTENCE
8/9/2006 12:46:27 PM
PREFACE - or - The purpose of this post. I've had several people come to me recently asking how they can make money online. They have all expressed this coming from a needy state of being. For those of you who know me and my belief in the Law of Attraction, you will know that I first suggested they start with a change in their mindset, that instead of coming to the problem from a state of need they have to change and come from a state of plenty. How can I do this without money in my hand? they ask. But we all know that we have plenty, and we can imagine plenty. The law of attraction tells us that what we project is what we get. Project need or project plenty. Which would you prefer? The difficulty is in maintaining that positive mindset in the face of all our daily tasks and challenges. Read Jim's words below, and start to apply this advice in thinking about plenty..then watch what happens! T PERSEVERANCE/PERSISTENCE by Jim Rohn It takes time to build a corporate work of art. It takes time to build a life. And it takes time to develop and grow. So give yourself, your enterprise, and your family the time they deserve and the time they require. Americans are incredibly impatient. Someone once said that the shortest period of time in America is the time between when the light turns green and when you hear the first horn honk. The twin killers of success are impatience and greed. How long should you try? Until you succeed. Some people plant in the spring and leave in the summer. If you've signed up for a season, see it through. You don't have to stay forever, but at least stay until you see it through. __________________________________________________________

Tim

That was very well put. We all need to take those words to heart if we

want to succeed.

Hi Tim,

Wise words from Jom Rohn.  And it's not only Americans who are impatient!  LOL

If something in business is worth achieving - whether it is an online business or a product you are marketing or..... it will need a combination of due diligence, effort and tenacity, and patience.

Rohn comments that the twin killers of success are impatience and greed.
You want easy money - then you have to take big risks - there's no safety net with these schemes.  But if you want to build something solid and lasting and safe then you have to be really grown up and build slowly but surely.  Dot your i's and cross your t's,  deliver what you promise,  show that you are as good as you say you are.

It's only little children who can get away with "I want it and I want it NOW!"  without it having long term repercussions.  Just because you Want it Now doesn't mean that the rest of the world has to go along with you.  Hang on in there - Rome wasn't built in a day, but it was built  and is still standing.

Saludos
Jenny

There is another word that goes with perseverance, and that is
DETERMINATION.

Nothing can stop a person with these qualities.
