Re: More Fibromyalgia Syndrome Links

Hi Linda,
Thanks for visiting my forum and sharing the links. I will check into the articles.
I use some Melaleuca products in the laundry and for cleaning. I do still have some products with chemicals though. I need to decrease them and add more natural cleaners.
As far as exercise, I agree wholeheartedly that it does help arthritis and fibromyalgia. If I skip a day I feel more stiffness and pain. I try to walk about 30 minutes most days.
Diet is important too. Some days I have too many carbohydrates and get low blood sugar symptoms. I do better eating more protein, fruit and vegetables but it is difficult to stay away from those yummy sweets. :)

Hi Todd,
Thanks for visiting my forum and sharing the links. I will check them out.
Perhaps your business partner would be so kind as to check out my fibromyalgia blog. I have been posting a lot of articles on this topic and hope to post weekly.
It is at: http://www.bizzyblogz.com/fibromyalgia
I would welcome comments there too.

Hi Georgios,
Thanks for visiting my forum and posting that good article. Also the definition you give for fibromyalgia at the bottom of your post certainly explains it well, fiber + muscle + pain.
I will copy and paste the article into my fibromyalgia blog for those who aren't members of Adlandpro so they can read it too.

Hi Joyce,
Welcome to my forum. I hadn't read the article about the food additives being a possible contributor to fibromyalgia but I would not be surprised if this is the case. I know there are a lot of chemicals added to our foods. Rarely anything you eat is natural any more. Preservatives are needed to keep the food in good enough condition to sell while shipping it across country. Of course there are those hormones fed to animals too to fatten them up before selling them for food. As I mentioned in another post, a friend in my fibromyalgia support group has a relative in the funeral business. He says less preservative is needed in bodies these days than in the past because people have so much preservatives in them already. This is a scary thought isn't it?

Hello Mary Beth,
Thank you for posting in my forum. I have fibromyalgia and believe my mother may have had it, but that was before we heard there was such a thing. Two of my nieces are also diagnosed with it.
The treatment you mention is indeed valuable. A healthy lifestyle, good diet, regular exercise, and positive attitude do help cope with the symptoms.
