HI Mary, Thank you for the invite and I have read all the posts to date. First of all, I am glad that someone mentioned something about this being a "PUBLIC" forum because it is not rude or pushy to join a forum that is open to all members of the community. If you do not want just anybody joining, or commenting, than you can need to make your forum a private one. As far as the pop-ups go, I was quite surprised by them at first and then I realized that Bogdan must have added another feature to the website. I do not find them annoying or intrusive at all. I have actually been able to go to a couple of forums that I have never been to before and found them very interesting. Change is not always readily accepted by people, but change can be for the betterment many times. Don't get so used to things being one way and never to change...progress goes on all the time and we have to be ready to make changes in our lives. Have a great week, Marilyn

Roger, I went back and checked my answer to which you take offense. This included "It is my opinion......". This is not intended to offend you. This is an opinion......right or wrong, just an opinion. That is what this forum is all about. From this I have gleaned that pop ups will bring new people into our circle, a benefit I was not aware of. My unkind statement brought answers from people which helped me understand. Each person conducts their business in a different way. That will determine the kind of friends list they will develope. Some seek to work with "like minded people", others will have a broad span of various interests type of people. Pop ups have changed the picture here and we who visited here hopefully can make the changes. Yes, posts can be edited by the forum owner only. If you ever wish to have something changed, contact the owner and they do the editing. I think my post will stay as is and then others know that this is the way I am and second, they can develope their opinion on the issue. Your visit is important and the apology I previously posted is sincere.

Good for you Nap, but don't they get in your way when typing and reading??? Maybe you have more patience than the average Adlander. Learning to ignore, may be a skill we will all have to develope.

Hello Mary I think that they need moving to somewhere where they dont block what you're doing and dont "hit you in the face" so much. On balance, if it increases forum participation, they might be quite healthy. (One can always ignore the oohs and aahs) They are at least pop ups that are relevant to Adland. if they were ads - then I wouldn't want them near my computer screen. Saludos Jenny
