I hate them simply because - I drop what i am doing and race across the page to click on another interesting topic.and blow me down as my mouse gets to the spot it disappears... too late again.. I sometimes feel like I'm running around like a headless chook. Please! please! ,if we must have popups let them hover just a little big longer so I can get to them in time. I'm off and racing another has appeared at the top of the screen. jenny.

I had the same thing that Jennifer mentioned: you start reading something interesting in the pop-up window, but before you're able to hold on to it, it's gone.

I've disabled pop-ups for that reason also, but it should be possible to adjust them, so, that whenever it is desired, to choose the option where you will be able to read the whole thing.

Jennifer and Jerrel,  Hope you are tuned in.  When you miss a pop up, get set to grab the next one.  Click on history (three choices--history, disable, and close.  When you click on history a new page comes up--low and behold there are the last popups, choose the one you want. I know, I could have figured it out. I've got considerable PC and Internet skills.

I've taken an ICT module at the University of Amsterdam, back in 1987. It covered pretty much everything, from PC Hardware to scientific database research, programming, etc. Perhaps I'll enter this in my Bio someday.

I have never really chased pop-ups around. It's always: Oh well, it's gone, and I leave it at that.

Have to apply myself a little more, there is much that I still need to study in the tips and tricks area.

Have to run off  again now.
