As much of a fan as I am of AdlandPro Community and Traffic Exchange, I am NOT of the little pop-ups. I have never been a fan of pop-ups and will NOt allow them on my websites. If I exchange ads, links or banners with others and they have tagged on a pop-up, I remove the ad, knowing that my will be removed as well. I find them too irriating and do not want my customers to deal with them. They are too distratcting and some of us have enough problems concentrating. I still think AdlandPro is the best and will continue to support it. I would like to suggest that you might make the pop-ups as a "choose to sign-up for" item. That way if we don't care for it, then we would not be bothered with it. I feel that ads are for advertising and personal messages are for instant messager, which of course is a personal choice, and emails. I'm no longer one of those with "slow contention", but I remember when I was and the pop-ups really slowed things down even more. In some areas people have no choice - all there is slow, my area just got DSL connetion choice just last year [a couple of months before Katrina]. Of course, this is just my opinion and I know others like them, but for some of us not so much. Sorry to be the one bad reveiw, but someone has to do it. LOL! Just for the record, some of the other new items that have added and the new homepage, I love!

well, at first i was sceptical but it does seem to increase the traffic so i guess that is a plus. glenn

Hello Mary, OMG!! What a turn out here. I saw this yesterday and it was half of what it is now. Doubled in one day. 30 plus pages. WoW!!! Ok, now to my post about subject. I did not really have a problem with them. I see they do add to peoples forum traffic and that is great!!!! Sarka, Your post is not clear to me. Your 2 sites for Adlandpro are they sites you use to promote Adlandpro? Are they accounts here at Adlandpro? By saying you want to stay only with friends, are you saying you do not want to use pop-ups to visit other forums. You do not want to use pop-ups to get new friends?

Hello Jenny, Yes, this topic is greater than I would have predicted. People are saying it has increased traffic for them. Personally, I added more friends than usual for this length of time. The slide show was also a factor in this. When someone enters the forum by way of the pop-up and posts, all the participants immediately learn more about this person than the profile would show. That is instant information. Your conclusion seems to have merit. Thanks for stopping and in and most of all for following the forum.
