Great topic, as always. May I add something? Thanks for your permission. On accaision I will call up a TH-coffee buddy and will buy his coffee & danish. This creates an opportunity to practice. Hello Kathy, Thanks for this post. I do a lot of public speaking aside from marketing and believe in being prepared. The main advantage I have found with preparing a script beforehand is that it does help me to keep focused, and not go wandering all over the place. If I wish to make several points, I try to find one word that can sum up the core of that point and memorize this. That has saved me a couple of times when I forget the script at home :-)!!!
