Wow Dave! How true this is. Anything that arrives in my email box with a headline like that gets deleted. Here's one of my favorite quotes - It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure you haven't lost the things money can't buy.- George Lorimer Have a wonderful weekend! :)

Dear Dave, I think a lot of the problem is it is getting harder and harder to pay the bills and survive. Which means you have a lot more people in desperate situations who are suddenly vulnerable to scams and hype. And, of course, the Greed Factor. There will always be greedy people, and some of those greedy people will be the cons, some of them will be the conned. What hurts me is when I see someone looking to supplement their disability or social security fall prey to scams and hype. These are people in real need, looking for a real solution. Unfortunately, sometimes there is no real solution. Thanks for another candid message. Sincerely,

Hi Dave! What I am about to write will probably make me unpopular, but I really believe it is true. Scammers are successful because of the plain and simple fact that people are lazy. They want something for nothing, and that is exactly what scammers promise. Rather than doing their due dilligence, people are predisposed to take the promise of instant gratification. Scammers take advantage of human nature. People who fall prey to scammers are actually falling to their own greed, or sense of hopelessness. The only way that scammers will ever be stopped is if people stop looking at the dollar signs and for free rides, and start looking for real opportunities for advancement. There is no free lunch folks. If you want to gamble with your money, play the stock market, or go to Vegas. If you want to make money online, seek out real business opportunities with stable companies who offer products or services which are marketable and in high demand. Have an awesome day! Hi, Trina, The only people for whom your statement could cause any discomfort are the scammers and victims themselves. You have made a very simple and succinct statement - THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH! Unfortunately, this statement is common sense, a quality lacking in far too many people, some because of age and infirmity, others because of sheer stupidity and gulibility.

Hi David, Don't know when and how happiness and money became synonymous. One is not equal to the other. I guess wealth is tangible and people felt as if they just had this car, that house, this income, more and more of something, they would be happy. Happiness is a feeling which is caused by inner contentment. Saint Paul was the best example,in the New Testament. While in prison he wrote to young Christians that no matter what the circumstances or where he was, he was content. Paul knew who he was and what he was about. He had the greatest wealth---inner peace. MONEY CAN'T BUY YOU HAPPINESS WEALTH IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL I won't rob a bank and I can't win the lottery if I never buy a ticket. So I guess I will just have to be content with happiness and forget about wealth.
