Well Charles, It seems you need to learn A & B: A. How to read with more comprehension as in this forum, I NEVER said anything about religion and drugs. and B. What the difference between FACT and mere "opinion" is! EVERYTHING I SAID ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IS TRUE! It is NOT my "mere" opinion, IT IS FACT! Any person who is not so programmed into the Christian Religion they do NOT know FACT from FICTION can look it up and find out it is FACT. Here are just a FEW examples of the many, many, many times the Christian Religion has been WRONG: Does the earth have FOUR corners? NO, the Christian Religion is wrong on that. --------- Can you "fall" off the earth? NO, the Christian Religion is wrong on that. --------- Is the sun go around the earth? NO, the Christian Religion is wrong on that. --------- Should you use lighting rods to protect structures? Well, the Christian Religion said you should not as "God" used lighting to punish the bad people! So AGAIN NO, the Christian Religion is wrong on that. --------- Should you help and treat crazy people? The Christian Religion said you should NOT help them as that is how "God" punished bad people! Hello Linda, Thank you for the invitation to your forum. I enjoyed the drug word in this forum as it sounds so un-english to my ears *lol* I was also drug as a child by my parents and I drug my children. Amanda Hi Neil, You surely put it out there and lumped many of us under one umbrella.. I just want to state from my stand-point. I have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ I am a believer that the world and mankind was created by God (Every country believes in God, of their own belief - Someone that is Highest of the Highs - Some of these same people believe and have no trouble accepting that there are Demons, evils spirits etc too and use Black magic, spells etc) Religion to my understanding says that one has to 'Do something religiously' e.g. bow so many times per day in prayer, recite some passage from the bible, chant, wear certain clothing, head coverings etc etc and the list goes on. I do not do any of the things in a Religious fad. I am not in a Religion of Christianity or anything else - A named church branch is not going to save me. The Pope or any person on earth can exhonourate me from wrong that I have personally committed. My confession and asking to be foregiven from my own doings. Being true to myself and to others. Living within the laws of the land and not deliberately breaking them. Having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus is not having me run around in a fanatical rampage and browbeating others into my way of belief. I agree. The act of 'Religion' and religious zealous has put many people into conflict and countries at war. You say that abortion is not abortion until the baby takes its first breath. You are not a woman and can not know the anguish and guilt of taking a life of a baby still in the womb. I have felt this pain not straight away but many years later - I knew that I had killed a unborn baby that had the right to live his/her life to its conclusion and fulfillment.
