Dear Friends, IF you live in, or know people who live in the So. Cal area, please read this. Come to, and tell others to come to the Armed Forces Day Parade held in Torrance Calif. every May. I understand it is the largest parade held west of the Mississippi River. The NEXT one will be held on May 17 at 2:00 p.m. on Torrance Blvd. There are also various military displays set up in the huge Mall parking lot on the south east corner of Hawthorne Blvd. and Torrance Blvd. Thank You!

I have a nephew in Iraq, and another one at the airforce base in Turkey. My mother recently hugged a young soldier while she was waiting at the doctors office, he got tears in his eyes too. My mom's brother died at Normandy Beach in WW2. It really means a lot to the soldiers and families that they get recognition, thanks everybody. Some military support groups send pillows over to the troups in Iraq with messages of encouragement on them. If you know of any local groups near you, ask them if they send pillows over there or if they need donations or volunteers, thanks.
