Steven, and others: We may be distraught about getting ad-loaded private messages, but on the other hand, if you use honey instead of vinagar, you might be suprised at what happens. When you get such messages, you know you're at least being looked at. If it's a human instead of a computer that is spitting out these messages you have chance to make a friend. Personally, I'm not interested in only a "used-car" sale because the products and company was in existed before I saw its integrity and longevity and have too much to risk to make enemies out of potential true friends. I also joined as a Life-timer, therfore my wife, family members and downline accounts will continue making Amsoil available after I push up daisies. Keep smiling, RH

Thanks for the thought, Steve

Hi Linda, I, too, resent ads in personal messages and if that's all they are, I delete them immediately. But what makes me even angrier are the invitations to become friends that are blatant ads. I delete those even faster! I think no matter how long some people have been around, they fail to understand the concept of relationship marketing. They remind me of the pushy sales people you see in the brick and mortar world. I'm not receptive to those kinds of tactics, no matter where I come across them. Blessings . . . Linda O

Hey Linda, Good point! I forgot to mention the ads that come with invitations to be friends. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and believe that they must somehow think that their advertising will be effective. Over time they will see it is not.. or they will quit... oh.. .here it is... they will become a statisic for the 97% failure rate! I do think lack of training for new networkers - or unwillingness to be "teachable" contributes most to the 95% to 97% failure rate. You think?

Hi Linda; ======================================== I do think lack of training for new networkers - or unwillingness to be "teachable" contributes most to the 95% to 97% failure rate. You think? ======================================== In my experience, the people who are unteachable seldom see themselves as such. That's a big part of the problem, in my humble opinion... : ) L
