Re: Who to report scams & con emails to!

Hi Dave. If you think that this cobbled together piece from various sources is a great resource, I'm sure I can spruce it up some more with a lot more places to check & report things too... As for linking back to our Security Website, a world wide presence is not that much good to us as we can only legally (International Law) allow American residents to purchase our products. Even then, certain States cannot purchase our whole range. I'm sorry to say, that I cannot even let my Canadian friends purchase two thirds of our stock.... So, a link would not be of much use.. Unless we had one to our Corporation Website, which really only has mention of our Security Store. We will have to discuss this in more detail Dave, however, the piece most certainly can be used on your site.. Your Security Friend in Las Vegas.

My philosophy is the same for email as it is regarding bad meat... When in doubt, THROW IT OUT. Nobody in Nigeria has money for you... PayPal contacts you by telephone if there is a problem with your account... Almost all online finanical institutions have internal email programs, and do not contact you using regular email for problems. Have an awesome day! Trina

Hi Trina, Your philosophy is fine, but before you throw out the next one, just think of the joy you will feel, if the one you report leads to the conviction of some criminal that has been praying on peoples fears. (as in the email accusing you of violating the patriot act!) A lot of people who use the Internet do not have your experience of these things & could easily get caught by that. If you would only report these people BEFORE deleting these emails, you may make the Internet a much nicer place. (Maybe) Your Security Friend in Las Vegas.

Hi Lisa (Lee-Lu) Thanks for your concerns about Pam, she's steadily, slowly getting better everyday. Maybe she will be able to get back to her office before her birthday on April 14th... Glad you found the information useful. Your Security Friend in Las Vegas.
