I find that until I "sell" myself to my prospect, they don't hear anything I have to say and they have no desire to want to work with me or learn from me.
Forming a relationship with your prospect or customer FIRST enables them to trust you and THEN they really hear what you have to say and want to know more about what you do because they like YOU!
I have had people that I have not talked to in a year to contact me recently because the word is really getting out about my business.
They hear it mentioned somewhere else, and because I have kept in touch with cards or email or phone calls, they remember ME - and they call ME - and they join with ME - all because they got to know ME first.
