Jack, ============================================ You make me smile. Do you fear not being busy? ============================================ Are you kidding? Absolutely NOT! What I wouldn't give to relax and read a novel. What I fear is missing out on any opportunity that presents itself, and they are coming at me too fast! At this point, I've cut it back to the three major ones, real estate brokerage, real estate investing, and the website. I can delegate the analysis on the investing to my husband once I have him up to speed. The web site needs just a bit of maintenance on a regular basis. The new company is creating tasks which are both urgent and important, and in the meanwhile I have clients to look after. In my Money 101 forum where you and I are also having a conversation, my latest post may provide insight as to my motivation. Your last paragraph cracked me up, rofl. Yes, I was being facetious, but I may just try the 'reset watch' idea. Except I don't wear one, lol. Cheri PS, this new strategy IS helping. Thanks, Linda.

Gary, Thank you, both for your kind words about my site and for your continuing good advice. As soon as I reset my watch, I'll find time to read the article you posted. :-) Didn't Linda do a fantastic job with the design? I look at it every day and pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming, lol. I would make an acerbic comment about being accused of being a mother duck, but have to admit to the truth of it, even though I'm much better now. I think it's because I was the oldest child in my family. Cheri

My pleasure Cheri, =============== "Didn't Linda do a fantastic job with the design? I look at it every day and pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming, lol." =============== I knew within the very first second that this was a Linda Caroll site. They have that unmistakeable look about them - the same but different - if that makes sense. Regarding the ducks, I was only trying to paint a word picture - no reference intended to you my dear - LOL! Also, why should you reset your watch? You said you don't wear it. Hmm (a little hint there, perhaps) Cheri, I have a small clock on my desk which I can set. If I really need to get something done then I will set it for one hour and literally tear the job to pieces. I close the door, take the phone off the hook and tell everybody not to interrupt me for that hour. Without all the normal distractions and intrusions you will amaze yourself at what you can get done in 3,600 seconds. When you think of one measly hour as 3,600 seconds it gives it a whole new dimension. By the way, I mentioned before that I have a method for getting rid of time wasters - you know, constant interruptors - impatient people who are continually annoying you with the most trivial and banal matters. Is it time to tell? Gary

Gary, I was making a humorous reference to Jack's suggestion. By all means, share your method. Cheri
