Good sound advice Linda. I do it all the time. Especially when time is short, I have to move on with a task and I don't want to lose a interesting article I come upon on the net. A quick highlight of the article, copy and then pull up notepad to paste. Notepad's a handy little program I can never do without or use enough. Thanks for the invite.

One thing that most Soho business don't do nearly enought is to backup their documents and information to removable media. This could be CDs, DVD, or floppies/disks. Then when disaster strikes they either have lost everything or it is costly to recover the information.

Hi Linda, thanks for the business tips. I also have a tip when it comes to saving time and effort in case your computer crashes. If your going to put info on the notebook pad, word etc. Get a floppy disk and save it on that incase you didn't save it on your e-mail folder etc. Also if your joining a company online and you give out your social number make sure you look for https: not http: that way hackers won't get a hold of your information to use it for identity theft. s* in https: means security and won't let people get a hold of it. And if company tells you disabled the firewall to place order isn't a good thing. They can get a hold of your information and rack up your bills. I hope this helps people also when it comes to biz tips Jackie

Hi Linda, Thank you for the invite to this useful forum. :-) I cannot do without RoboForm and AMBrowser. In RoboForm all my passwords and login information are stored automatically, and the software signs me in to multiple websites at the same time. You can protect RoboForm with a Lock, and you never have to find or remember a login and password again. I would be absolutely lost without this wonderful tool. There is a free version of both.
