Passive is a term that has never before been applied to me. There was a time when I would have been up in arms about this injustice, if indeed that's what it was. And if you think you are caustic, don't get me started. Remind me to tell you about the time I faced down the president of a multi-million dollar timeshare company and won--without lawyers.
However, I've learned to pick my battles rather than spend all my time worrying about those that are really unimportant in the big picture. I won't disrespect the time, friendship and concern of those who voted for me by saying I don't care. There are a couple of advantages to being POTW that I would have appreciated.
Le me just say that I don't care enough to want anyone to raise their blood pressure over it. After all, I wasn't voted Prom Queen or class president in high school, either. I survived without noticeable effect on my life.
If you want to fight it on general principle, be my guest. Just not on my account.
