	Yes Sozain, Bouguereau was a great advocate of realism in painting and he did it brilliantly.

	Two Bouguereau's masterpieces of religious nature but most disimilar character, painted at the turn of that decade, would become very famous. They clearly deserved it. 	Though not as popular as his Tentation, here is another charming masterpiece by Bouguereau in the same mother-and-child theme but painted one year later, in 1881. William Bouguereau - Nature's Fan (oil on canvas, 1881)
